Curriculum

We believe in a broad and balanced curriculum that supports progression as pupils move from school into further study, employment or vocational training.

We aim to prepare our pupils for lifelong learning. We deliver the National Curriculum and ensure that the curriculum is differentiated, relevant and supports individuals.

All Year 7 pupils follow courses in English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, French or Spanish, Design Technology, Religious Education, Music, Art, Physical Education, ICT and Drama.

Supporting this curriculum is our determination to teach core skills for lifelong learning such as Citizenship, Literacy, Numeracy and ICT.

In Years 10 and 11, pupils are able to choose a more personalised curriculum. They will be able to select from a range of GCSE, BTEC and Vocational subjects.
