Stickers and Postcards
Students are given stickers
(merits) and postcards to celebrate and reward their
achievement and effort. Stickers can be collected in
their planners and each pupil has an account with
the
www.mystickers.co.uk website.
Pupils enter the codes from their
stickers and postcards to register their points.
Weekly prizes are given in each Year Group for
achievements such as for the student with the
highest points in the Year Group or the highest
points in a particular subject that week.
All pupils with positive points at
the end of the year will be eligible for Rewards Day
in July (or the Year 11 prom for those in Year 11).
Other rewards and prizes include:
-
Students of the term – those
with the highest points in each Year Group for
each subject receive a certificate and have
their photo as part of the Student of the Term
display in the hall.
-
A weekly prize in each Year
Group assembly for the “Form of the Week” tutor
group with the highest attendance percentage.
-
Each week there is a different
House Competition with a prize for the winner
and stickers for all entrants. The House with
the most points at the end of the year will have
a discount on their choice of activity for each
pupil in that House who entered their points on
www.mystickers.co.uk.
-
For pupils with 100%
attendance for the whole academic year there
will be a certificate as well as having their
activity paid for on Rewards Day or their prom
ticket paid for (if Year 11).
Old Throstles
Pupils who have achieved
excellence, whether in or out of school, may be
awarded a special “Old Throstles” award and will
receive a special badge and have their photo on the
Honours Board in the Hall.
